The second and final weekend of the 2022 Camrose has taken place on Realbridge, writes Julian Pottage, Bridge Correspondent, with England retaining the Camrose Trophy, and Ireland winning every trophy for which they were competing, apart from the Camrose Trophy itself. The final results are as follows:
1st England (Peter Crouch, Simon Cope, Andrew Black, David Gold,
Tom Paske and Andrew Mcintosh, NPC Peter Hasenson), 135.96 VPS; 2nd Ireland (Tommy Garvey, Tom Hanlon, Adam Mesbur, Nick Fitzgibbon, Mark Moran and John Carroll, NPC Grainne Barton), 130.74 VPS; 3rd Wales (Julian Pottage, Tony Ratcliff, Dafydd Jones, Adam Dunn, Martin Jones and Jake Dunn, NPC Paul Denning), 92.13 VPS; 4th Scottish Bridge Union, 90.63 VPS; 5th Northern Ireland, 80.22 VPS; and 6th Scotland, 69.32 VPS.
The winners of trophies for individual matches (with the combined results for the Scotland and Scottish Bridge Union teams determining which trophies Scotland won) are as follows:
