Ukraine’s is our war

SIR – Enough is enough! The United States and Europe (Nato) should tell Russia (Vladimir Putin) to withdraw its troops and negotiate a possible settlement. Otherwise, we are at war.

How long can we allow Ukrainian troops, with the support of civilians, to fight on our behalf ?

SIR – The EU allows “workaround­s“to enable Germany and Italy to pay for gas from Russia, despite its invasion of a sovereign European country and the withdrawal of supplies to two EU members. Yet it still expects to implement fully the Northern Ireland protocol with a firm ally.
