Teenagers face £125,000 gum theft charges
Two teenagers have been charged with the alleged theft of £125,000 worth of chewing gum.
The gum was said to have been taken from a HGV parked at Gloucester Services on the M5 in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
Officers attended and, following a pursuit, two arrests were made.
Keon Sanderson, 18, of Batley, and Ellis Benecke, 19, of Leeds, have both been charged.
They were also charged with being in possession of cannabis. Sanderson was also charged with being suspected for failing to provide a breath test.
Both have been remanded in custody.
