Tom Cruise arrives in style for the global premiere of Top Gun: Maverick at a gala event aboard the USS Midway aircraft carrier in San Diego, California. The sequel to the 1986 original sees the 59-year-old star back in the pilot seat as Pete ‘Maverick’ Mitchell, but this time around as a flight instructor. The movie is to be released in UK cinemas on May 25.
