Who’s Lorraine?

SIR – While it would appear somewhat anomalous, I am a life-long reader of The Daily Telegraph and a fully paid-up member of the Labour Party.

I write to say that, on this occasion, I am full-square behind Boris Johnson in not knowing who Lorraine Kelly is (“Johnson ‘out of touch’ after chat show presenter gaffe”, report, May 4).

I’m so pleased that he, like me, can find much more useful and fulfilling things to occupy himself with than watching daytime television.
