Two convicted after stabbing of bus driver
Two men who used a tracking device to ambush and stab to death a bus driver have been convicted of murder.
Donald Owusu, 25, Harvey Macfoy, 26, and an unidentified third man attacked Albert Amofa as he arrived home in Croydon, south London, on Dec 15 2019, the Old Bailey heard. They stabbed Amofa, 33, in his car as they demanded the keys in an alleged attempt to steal £5,000 of cannabis which they thought was in the vehicle.
The jury deliberated for 21 hours before convicting Owusu and Macfoy of murder yesterday.
