The Misfits (1961 b/w) Great! Movies Classic, 9pm ★★★★★

Famous for being the last film completed by both Marilyn Monroe and Clark Gable, this Arthur Millerscripted Western is fierce. Roslyn Taber (Monroe) falls for Gable’s cowboy Gay Langland, who works odd jobs with his friend (Montgomery Clift); said jobs include rounding up horses to be turned into dog food. The finale, when Monroe tries to stop them, is one of her most soulful turns.
