William tells of his grief meeting bomb families
The Duke of Cambridge urged the families of Manchester Arena terror attack victims to “look back with love” when they remember those they lost.
He spoke out on a visit to the city as he and his wife officially opened a memorial to the 22 people who died after the bombing on May 22, 2017.
“As someone who lives with his own grief, I also know that what often matters most to the bereaved is that those we have lost are not forgotten,” he said, drawing on his own experiences after the death of his mother. “They changed our lives.”
