Holiday romance
SIR – When I was young, the annual family holiday was spent visiting relations. On one such holiday, aged 15, I noticed a bath panel was out of place, so tried to fix it. Behind it I found a battered copy of Lady Chatterley’s Lover (Letters, May 10).
I often wonder whether anyone noticed that I subsequently went to the bathroom more frequently.

SIR – Never mind Lady Chatterley’s Lover, The Daily Telegraph’s detailed description of the Profumo court case was good enough for me.
