A MOVING MOMENT.
Boulogne was in readiness for the coming of the King and Queen, aquiver with suppressed excitement. With full and grateful hearts the townspeople had watched the departure of the body of the Unknown Warrior for his niche of immortality in Westminster Abbey; to-day they gathered in their thousands to watch the departure of the King and Queen after the visits to the graves of the warriors who are known. Before coming to Terlincthun the King visited the large cemetery at Etaples, which skirts the railway, and is a reminder to British people travelling to and from Paris of the British sacrifices. Here about 11,000 of our men are buried. A touching incident marked the visit, which deeply impressed those who accompanied his Majesty. The mother of a soldier, Sergt. Matthews, who is buried there, sent a bouquet of forget-menots to the Queen, was in Brussels, and expressed a wish that they be placed on his grave. Her wish was fulfilled. His Majesty found the grave and piously laid the flowers upon it.
