KEMALISTS AND GREEKS.

-

We are privileged to give the following account of political conditions in Asia Minor under Turkish rule from the statements of three English gentlemen who have just returned from a tour of Central Europe, and have sent about a fortnight at Samsoun, on the northern coast of Asia Minor. These gentlemen are Major Anson, Mr. W. E. D. Allen, and Mr. Michael Mason. Mr. Allen, it may be explained, has been a contributor to the “Quarterly Review” and the “Edinburgh Review” on Eastern subjects, has been journalistically engaged in that part of Europe, and has written a book entitled “The Turks in Europe.”
