Covid money tree

sir – I recently audited the accounts for a village hall and was amazed to see that it has continued to receive Covid grants this year. Nor has the Government requested repayment of the large sums received in 2020-21.

Village halls across the country must be sitting on millions of pounds. If this money were repaid, it could go towards helping people who are struggling to pay their bills.
