THREATENED MOVE ON DERRY
FROM OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT. LONDONDERRY, Monday.
I.R.A. mutineers murdered a loyalist, Mr. Joseph Ballantine, at his residence, Raphoe, Donegal, under circumstances of special cruelty. There is now great concentration of I.R.A. in East Donegal, in which there are a large number of Protestants, and rebels are billeted upon them. It is estimated the Republican forces in this area number about a thousand. Some loyalists have been ordered to clear into the northern area, and have done so, quite a number of refugees being in Londonderry.
