You Mend a Broken Heart (2020) Sky Showcase, 8pm ★★★

Frank Marshall’s film was made with the blessing of Barry, Robin and Maurice Gibb’s families – which may explain why it doesn’t pry too deeply into the clashing egos of the band, or the drug addictions which ravaged the youngest Gibb brother Andy and contributed to his death in 1988 at the age of 30. Still, there’s great music and the wild drama of disco is conveyed.
