Rugby Union Premier 15s final

Two-time champions Saracens will be bidding to wrestle back the league crown they relinquished to Harlequins last year – they beat Quins 30-10 in the final game of the regular season to confirm their place in the final. Golf US Women’s Open

June 2-6

Golf legend Annika Sorenstam will return to play in the US Women’s Open for the first time in 14 years at the age of 51 after coming out of retirement. The second women’s major of the season will be held for a record fourth time at Pine Needles Lodge and Golf Club in North Carolina – where the Swede won the second of her three US Opens in dominant fashion in 1996. The tournament has almost doubled the prize money to $10million (£8million), making it the biggest purse in women’s golf. Yuka Saso, who now represents Japan, won the title in a play-off last year.
