Badge of honour Harry wears full house of jubilee medals

-

The Duke of Sussex’s decision to step down as a working member of the Royal family left a question mark over what medals he would be permitted to wear at the Platinum Jubilee, and whether he would be given the Platinum Jubilee medal.

However, he wore the decoration at St Paul’s Cathedral yesterday.

Around his neck and below his row of medals were the Knight Commander of the Royal Victorian Order.

The row of medals on his chest consisted of the Afghan campaign medal and the three jubilee medals: Golden, Diamond and Platinum.

While the award of jubilee medals is not automatic, they are by custom given to all serving servicemen and others in public service.
