A quiet pint

sir – On the subject of piped music in pubs (Letters, June 2), I am surprised that no one has mentioned a Telegraph

publication entitled The Quiet Pint.

When I accompanied my late husband on our photographic excursions, this was our bible, and some of our recommendations were published in it.

This book is still available via an online bookseller. Maybe it’s time for an update.
