Thug in a Queen mask ‘punched man in face’
Police are hunting a man who allegedly punched a reveller in the face in a busy pub on the eve of the Platinum Jubilee while wearing a mask of the Queen.
Police were called to The Anchor public house in High Street, Lincoln, at 7pm on Wednesday after a man suffered a bleeding nose and a cut face in the attack.
Detectives have released CCTV footage of a suspect who had tattoos on his arms and legs.
A Lincolnshire Police spokesman described the offender as a 5ft 10in white male with a medium-to-heavy build.
He was wearing dark shorts, a dark T-shirt, and a black gilet.
