Self-sabotaging strikes

SIR – Congratulations to the Rail, Maritime and Transport (RMT) union on another spectacular own goal. The disruption of the strikes will inevitably encourage people to work from home.

The RMT is blinkered. A better service leads to more customers, more jobs and better pay. A poor service means fewer people and redundancies. It’s a simple choice.
