Ash Cloud: The Week the World Stopped

In April 2010 we all had to learn how to pronounce Eyjafjallajökull after the Icelandic volcano erupted and 20 Western European countries closed their busy airspaces due to the vast ash cloud. This documentary uses a mixture of archive footage and first-hand testimonies from scientists, those who attempted to solve the emergency and the holidaymakers who were left stranded abroad.
