Life sentence for man who stabbed neighbour

-

A “neighbour from hell” killer has continued making threats to his victims from prison, a judge revealed yesterday, as he was jailed for life.

Can Arslan, 52, stabbed father-ofthree Matthew Boorman, 43, to death in front of his wife and son a day after telling police: “I will murder him.”

He was branded the “monster next door” by his victim’s widow, Sarah, before being sentenced to a minimum of 38 years behind bars.

Bristol Crown Court heard that Mr Arslan lay in wait and stabbed Mr Boorman 27 times as he returned home from work on October 5 last year.

Sentencing, Mrs Justice Cutts called Mr Arslan a “highly dangerous man” who had shown “no guilt or remorse at any stage” for the killing.
