Corrections and clarifications

An article headlined “Working class people should aim ‘lower’ than Oxbridge” (June 10) did not accurately reflect the views of Katharine Birbalsingh, chair of the Social Mobility Commission. In fact, Ms Birbalsingh wants to promote a broader view of social mobility, where smaller steps are celebrated. We apologise for the error and are happy to correct the record.
