Art for aid

Jeff Koons’s sculpture Balloon Monkey (Magenta) is being put up for sale at Christie’s in London by Ukrainian philanthropist Victor Pinchuk and his wife Olena to raise funds for humanitarian aid for their country. Estimated to fetch between £6million and £10 million, it is described as a symbol of hope and solidarity with victims of war.
