Children in need

More than 500,000 people are going hungry in the Karamoja region, where natural disasters, plagues of locusts and other invasive pests have destroyed crops. Armed cattle raids by nomadic clans that wander the lawless frontier between Uganda, South Sudan and Kenya are also compounding the problem.
