Jagger ‘much better’ after catching Covid

Sir Mick Jagger has thanked fans for their messages and said he is feeling “much better” after revealing on Monday that he had coronaviru­s.

The Rolling Stones frontman, 78, told fans the band’s Amsterdam show has been reschedule­d for July 7 after his positive test. He added that a new date for Bern in Switzerlan­d, which had been scheduled to take place tomorrow, would be announced soon.

Sir Mick said: “Thank you all so much for your well wishes and messages the last few days. I’m feeling much better and can’t wait to get back on stage next week!”

The band is due to play two shows at BST Hyde Park, London, this summer.
