The Prince of Wales, President, the Mary Rose Trust, this morning received Mr Nigel Purse upon assuming his appointmen­t as Chairman. His Royal Highness also received Mrs Helen Bonser-wilton upon relinquish­ing her appointmen­t as Chief Executive Officer and Mr Dominic Jones upon assuming the appointmen­t. The Prince of Wales, Patron, and The Duchess of Cornwall this evening attended a Dinner at Bowood House, Old Road, Derry Hill, Calne, Wiltshire, to mark the Centenary of the Garden Society.

The Duchess of Cambridge, Joint Patron, the Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, this morning held a Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood Meeting at the Royal Institutio­n, 21 Albemarle Street, London W1.

ST JAMES’S PALACE June 16th

The Princess Royal, Court Member, the Fishmonger’s Company, this evening attended a Reception at Fishmonger­s’ Hall, London Bridge, London EC4, to celebrate Seven Hundred and Fifty Years since the Company was incorporat­ed by Royal Charter.

KENSINGTON PALACE June 16th

The Duke of Gloucester, Grand Prior, the Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem, this evening attended a Civic Reception at City Chambers, 253 High Street, Edinburgh, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-lieutenant of the City of Edinburgh (Councillor Robert Aldridge, the Rt Hon the Lord Provost). His Royal Highness, Grand Prior, the Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem, afterwards attended a Dinner at the New Club, 86 Princes Street, Edinburgh.
