Tory MP Bradley reveals kidnap threat to wife

A CONSERVATIVE MP has revealed that a social media troll once threatened to kidnap his wife and condemned the “torrent of negativity” against politicians online. Ben Bradley, Mansfield MP since 2017, said he is unsure whether he will defend his seat as a result of his experiences.

He said police arrested a man who threatened him with pepper spray during his first constituency surgery.

Mr Bradley told GB News: “They threatened to kidnap my wife once, which was nice. On the one hand it’s probably some kid, some keyboard warrior who will never do it, but then if you ignore it and then something does happen you’d never forgive yourself.

“It turned out it was some teenager who burst into tears as soon as they [police] walked through the door.”
