In the Open Teams after 24 matches Ireland is in a World Championship qualifying position, lying sixth. England are one place away from a qualifying spot, in ninth place. At the same stage, Wales are 24th and Scotland 29th. In the Women’s Teams after 14 matches England is in a World Championship qualifying position, in seventh, with Ireland a couple of places outside in 10th place. In the Mixed Teams after 15 matches England is in a World Championship qualifying position in eighth place but Ireland and Scotland are well down the field. In the Seniors Teams after 19 matches England has moved up to 10th place but is over 20 VPS behind eighth placed France.
