The superhero streaming sensation, based on a series of graphic novels written by My Chemical Romance frontman Gerard Way, returns for a third season. The Umbrella Academy are back in the present after their time-hopping, apocalypse-averting exploits at the end of last season. In their absence a new, very similar group called the Sparrow Academy have materialised – and they don’t seem particularly friendly.
