UK extends plan for Natwest sale

The UK is extending a plan to sell more of its £11.3bn stake in Natwest by another year. The Government owns 48.5pc of the high street bank, after it bailed out RBS during the financial crisis. UK Government Investment­s, which oversees state holdings, said its trading plan will now terminate in August 2023 as it looks to further cut its stake in the lender.
