Woman charged with fatal stabbing of man

A woman has appeared in court charged with stabbing a man to death in south-west London.

Blaze Wallace, 27, is accused of killing 34-year-old Samuel Mayo. Police were called at around 10pm on Monday after a man suffered a stab injury in Lower Richmond Road, Mortlake. He was taken to hospital but died about half an hour later. The woman was arrested near the scene.

Police previously said the woman and the victim knew each other.

Ms Wallace, of Richmond, appeared in custody at Wimbledon magistrates’ court on Friday, a court official said. She will appear at the Old Bailey on Tuesday.
