Former police station converted to dope farm
A police station sold off by London mayor Sadiq Khan was turned into a large cannabis factory, it has emerged.
The drug farm was uncovered in Manchester Road, east London on Sunday. Police are still investigating and no arrests have been made.
Isle of Dogs councillor Peter Golds told the Evening Standard: “Two years ago, we found a cannabis factory in a school in the borough and now this.”
The Metropolitan Police said: “The Isle of Dogs police station was sold to a private company on Feb 25 2022 and is no longer Metropolitan Police Service property.”
