Jarvis Cocker confirms Pulp comeback in 2023

The English rock band Pulp will reunite for the first time in a decade for a series of shows next year, their frontman Jarvis Cocker has confirmed.

The Sheffield band, who shot to fame with their hits Common People and Disco 2000, last performed together in December 2012 when they played a homecoming concert and two shows on the Coachella Cruise.

After Cocker posted a cryptic message on Instagram last week referencin­g their sixth album, he confirmed the reunion during a Guardian Live event on Monday night.

“Next year Pulp are going to play some concerts,” he announced to a cheering audience.
