Man pleads guilty to spitting on Tory MP
A man has pleaded guilty to spitting on Conservative MP Jamie Wallis outside a railway station.
Kenny Defelice, 44, of Kenton Road in Harrow, north west London, assaulted the Bridgend MP at London Paddington station on Sept 24 last year.
Defelice entered a guilty plea at Westminster magistrates’ court yesterday. He also pleaded guilty to resisting arrest.
Tom Heslop, prosecuting, told the court that Mr Wallis was approached by Defelice who kept on requesting a cigarette and then spat towards Mr Wallis.
Defelice was granted unconditional bail and will be sentenced on Aug 24.
