A Candle for the Devil (1973)

This horror from Spanish director Eugenio Martín feels at first like a standard Euro-horror exploitation film, but quickly grows into something more interesting. Two aging sisters (Esperanza Roy and Aurora Bautista), living under religious repression in the hotel that they run together, murder a young British tourist after her more liberated behaviour shocks them. A host of violent killings soon ensue.
