Trans clinic failure

SIR – Will anybody ever be called to account for allowing Left-wing ideologically motivated doctors to mutilate children (“Final nail for clinic that was deaf to concerns”, report, July 29)? Or is it in fact largely our collective fault for indulging in absurd idolatry of the medical profession (a faith which time and time again is shown to be misplaced), as well as in ridiculous worship of “our” NHS?
