Man arrested after train passenger, 24, dies

A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a train passenger died on a platform on Saturday night.

British Transport Police (BTP) officers were called to Platform 8 Reading station in Berkshire at 11.43pm following reports of an injured man.

A 24-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene, BTP said, despite the efforts of emergency services. A 42-year-old man was arrested.
