1903:
The “tug-tender” Ralph Brocklebank constructed to pull barges and carry passengers between Ellesmere Port and Liverpool
1915:
Commandeered by Royal Navy as unarmed patrol boat around Liverpool coast area
1936:
Radical refit turns it into flagship for Manchester Ship Canal Company with art-deco interior and new name, the Daniel Adamson.
1984:
Decommissioned and passed to boat museum in Ellesmere Port
2004:
Rescued from sale for scrap metal for £1 and restored to its former glory in 12 years by the newly formed Daniel Adamson Preservation Society.
