Back on patrol
Irish Guards mascot Turlough Mor, a two-year-old Irish wolfhound, with its handler, drummer Adam Walsh, at Wellington Barracks, Westminster. After a review of the Armed Forces last year, the Second Battalion Irish Guards, which was disbanded 75 years ago, has been reactivated under the Future Soldier programme. Yesterday, the battalion’s Number 12 company performed its first ceremonial duty with the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace.
