Body of retired Fettes College teacher found


A body has been found in the search for a retired private school teacher who police believe was murdered.

Police Scotland said yesterday that they had recovered a body in the investigat­ion into the death of Peter Coshan, 75, a former biology teacher who worked at Fettes College in Edinburgh for nearly 35 years.

While formal identifica­tion was yet to take place yesterday, the body was believed to be that of Dr Coshan.

Two people have already been charged over his murder. The body was found on land near the village of Kirkwhelpi­ngton, Northumber­land.
