Riot: The Week England Burned Channel 5, 9pm

This documentary looks at the riots that hit cities across England in the summer of 2011, asking why and how a march in north London would lead, eventually, to £500m worth of damage, hundreds of businesses destroyed and around 2,000 people convicted of crimes. It brings together eyewitness testimony from police, victims and rioters, and clips from across the four tense days of unrest.
