Man murdered teenage girlfriend he met online
A man has admitted murdering his Mormon girlfriend after she left Canada for the first time to travel to the UK after meeting him online.
Jack Sepple, 23, pleaded guilty at Chelmsford Crown Court to the murder of Ashley Wadsworth, 19.
Ms Wadsworth was pronounced dead at an address in Tennyson Road, Chelmsford, Essex, on Feb 1.
An inquest was told that she died of “stab wounds to the chest”.
Ms Wadsworth met Sepple, via an online dating app and travelled to the UK to meet him late last year.
Judge Christopher Morgan remanded Sepple in custody until a date can be fixed for his sentencing.
