Financial crisis

An employee of Blom bank in Beirut exits through a broken window after the bank was held up by a woman who took $13,000 (£11,000) that she said were her own savings. Strict limits have been imposed on foreign currency withdrawals in Lebanon amid the financial crisis there. The woman later told journalists she needed the money to pay for her sister’s cancer treatment.
