BUCKINGHAM PALACE September 15th

The Governor-general of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines (Dame Susan Dougan) spoke to The King this evening.

The Governor-general of the Independen­t State of Papua New Guinea (Sir Robert Dadae) spoke to His Majesty.

September 16th

The King and The Queen Consort this morning attended a Service of Prayer and Reflection for the Life of The late Queen in Llandaff Cathedral, Cardiff, and were received by His Majesty’s Lord-lieutenant of South Glamorgan (Mrs Morfudd Meredith), the Archbishop of Wales, the Bishop of Llandaff (the Right Reverend June Osborne), the Acting Dean of Llandaff Cathedral (the Venerable Michael Komor) and the Rt Hon the Lord Mayor of Cardiff (Councillor Graham Hinchey).

Afterwards Their Majesties met schoolchil­dren and members of the public on Llandaff Green.

The King and The Queen Consort this afternoon drove to the Senedd Cymru - Welsh Parliament, Pierhead Street, Cardiff, and were received by the Presiding Officer for the Senedd (Ms Elin Jones, MS,) and the First Minister of Wales (the Rt Hon Mark Drakeford, MS).

Their Majesties entered the Siambr/chamber where the First Minister of Wales read a Motion of Condolence from the Members of Senedd Cymru - Welsh Parliament to which The King was graciously pleased to make reply.

Afterwards The King and The Queen Consort met members of the Youth Parliament and Members of the Senedd.

Their Majesties subsequent­ly undertook a walkabout outside the Senedd.

The King and The Queen Consort afterwards drove to Cardiff Castle and were received by Sir Brooke Boothby, Bt (Vice Lord-lieutenant of South Glamorgan).

The First Minister of Wales was received in audience by His Majesty.

The Presiding Officer for the Senedd was received by The King.

Their Majesties subsequent­ly gave a Reception for Members of the Senedd.

The King later received Faith Leaders at Buckingham Palace.

This evening The King, accompanie­d by The Queen Consort, The Duke of York, The Earl of Wessex, accompanie­d by The Countess of Wessex, and The Princess Royal, accompanie­d by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, Mounted Vigil at the Coffin of Her late Majesty as it Lay in State in Westminste­r Hall, Palace of Westminste­r.

Princess Beatrice, Mrs Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi and Mr Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi and Princess Eugenie, Mrs Jack Brooksbank and Mr Jack Brooksbank, The Lady Louise Mountbatte­n-windsor and Viscount Severn, Mr Peter Phillips, Mr and Mrs Michael Tindall, The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, The Duke of Kent, Prince and Princess Michael of Kent, Princess Alexandra, the Hon Lady Ogilvy, The Earl of Snowdon, Mr Daniel and the Lady Sarah Chatto and other Members of the Royal Family were present.

KENSINGTON PALACE September 16th

The Prince and Princess of Wales this afternoon visited Army Training Centre Pirbright, Brookwood, Woking, to meet Defence Force personnel from Australia, Canada and New Zealand and were received by His Majesty’s Lord-lieutenant of Surrey (Mr Michael More-molyneux).
