Art of noise

Cotswold artist Emma Howell strums the custom-built Tempest guitar she has hand-painted, as part of New Terrain, a show of abstract paintings at Sixteen Gallery in Cheltenham. The exhibition is dedicated to her late father, Mark Howell, a bass guitarist with bands from the 1980s and 1990s.
