MP urged to discipline aide who hurled abuse
Labour was last night facing calls to discipline an MP’S aide who called a father holding a baby at a women’s rights rally a “f------ fascist”.
Carly-may Kavanagh, a policy caseworker for Brighton MP Lloyd Russell-moyle, was filmed hurling insults at the man at the Standing For Women march on Sunday.
The man can be seen jeering at the crowd of trans rights supporters in Brighton before trading barbs with a woman. After the video went viral Ms Kavanagh issued an apology saying she was “embarrassed by her actions”.
But Stonewall is still urging Mr Russell-moyle to deal with the issue “in an appropriate manner”.
