Mother and daughter murder victims named

A 12-year-old girl and her mother who were found together dead in a house in Suffolk have been named.

Louise Nash and 44-year-old Jillu Nash have been identified, as officers investigate their murders in Great Waldingfield, Sudbury. Louise died from a stab wound to the abdomen while Jillu died from “pressure on the neck”, post-mortem analysis found.

Police were called just after 9.55am on Sept 8 to a property in Heath Estate. The mother and daughter were found dead inside, Suffolk Police said.

A man, 46, was inside the property with serious injuries and is in hospital under arrest on suspicion of two counts of murder.
