LEVI DAVIS, the English rugby union player, told his family “I’ll catch you guys soon, 100 per cent” in the last message he sent before he went missing.

The 24-year-old sent the voice note to his sister just three days before vanishing from a bar in Barcelona over a week ago. Candice Balfour, 23, shared the recording with The Daily Telegraph amid fears he had come to harm.

She said: “We just want him to come home. I personally don’t think he would see all this and not come home.

“There’s only so much you can help him but I hope he’s okay.”

The rugby star had previously posted a three-minute outburst on his Instagram account, which he has since deleted.

Ms Balfour said of the video that she thinks “he would calm himself ” rather than let things escalate. She messaged him on Oct 26 after seeing the video on his account. She said to him: “Hey Bro, I saw your video yesterday and wanted to share the love from the family with you at this time! We’re here for you!”

In the voice note reply, Mr Davis tells his sister: “Appreciate it, appreciate you sis, honestly I really [do]. And yeah it is tough, but you know me, I’m a fighter, that’s what I’m going to do.

“Thanks for getting in touch, I really really really do appreciate you guys getting in touch.

“I’m really sorry I’ve always been awful, but especially over this last period it’s been really hard keeping in contact. I’ll catch you guys soon, 100 per cent.”

His sister said that the possibility the former Bath rugby player and reality TV star had harmed himself was a “thought that crosses your mind”.
