Sunny delight

Fatlips Castle near Hawick in the Scottish Borders is bathed in sunshine as the sun sets over the 16th-century tower. The Met Office confirmed yesterday was the warmest Remembrance Sunday on record after the mercury hit 21.2C in Porthmadog, Wales, surpassing the previous high of 19.1C.
