Deadpool 2 (2018) Film4, 9pm ★★★

Ryan Reynolds et al double down on the huge success of their 2016 hit. As ever, the red-suited anti-hero Deadpool is morally flexible, nearunkillable and entirely self-aware, but this time he’s more offensive, his injuries more grotesque and his quips more numerous. The plot, about a mutant boy in need of protection, is paper-thin, but the anarchic tone remains the real reason to watch.
